You likely won't see "ethylene oxide" on an ingredient panel. It is a "non-ingredient", a contaminant of some manufacturing processes. 

It has strong links to cancer. 

Look for the following on the label: PPG, PEG, polysorbate and ingredients that end in –eth such as laureth, steareth, ceteareth.

A weak preservative and skin conditioner.

While it helps extend shelf life, ethylhexylglycerin is known to cause eye irritation, especially with direct exposure. This is particularly important for dogs, whose eyes are more sensitive than ours.

Although considered safe at low levels in cosmetics, it is not permitted in certified organic products and does not align with truly natural formulations.

An ester of Ethylhexyl Alcohol and the fatty acids derived from Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil.
